Dan Clark - Boss Man,

Guitar and Drum Tutor

Dan has been playing for 26 years and teaching for over 12, and is proud to have taught the youngest ever Grade 8 rock guitarist in the world (aged 10!).  As an artist he has released singles and albums, been featured on Radio 1, Channel 4, played loads of festivals and venues including the London 2012 Olympics; and was a semi finalist in the UK Songwriting Contest.

Dan set up Jam Music Tuition as a way to introduce as many children to the wonders of playing an instrument as possible.  Avoiding stale and boring lessons, the ethos is on fun, enthusiastic and inspiring lessons, aiming for the instrument and music to be a vital and enhancing part of each child's life, rather than just an academic achievement.

Alongside that he's also been in bands on the side doing covers and original material.

Tom Smith - Guitar Tutor

From a young age Tom has always had a love of music. Learning both clarinet and saxophone before teaching himself guitar he had the opportunity to play a wide range of music in lots of different groups.

At secondary school Tom took part in the school Wind Band and Swing Band. Following this he was offered a place at Nottingham to study Music Technology and Performance. During this time Tom got the chance to learn about live performaces as well as working behind the scenes, including recording and producing his own music.

Tom's had the pleasure of playing in a variety of bands including Ska, Punk and Rock bands, but admittedly his favourite performances have to be Jam Nights on his acoustic - you never know what you'll end up playing!

Tom now spend most of his time, when not teaching, writing and recording his own music and looking for new bands to listen to.
